Though classically dominated by the likes of pro athletes, the marketplace at the end of the twentieth century was overtaken by trading cards for other popular media. Marvel Universe Trading Cards smashed into the scene with a shockwave that sent collectors and fans rushing to acquire every entry in each annual set—from iconic stalwarts like Spider-Man, Wolverine, and Doctor Doom, to more esoteric sensations like Bloodseed, Slayback, and Deadzone!
